Overview

Fish Out Of Water is the story of Griet, a high-level high school swimmer who's world is suddenly turned upside when her seemingly-happy parents divorce. Forced into a new house, a new school, and having to make new friends, she learns life isn't as easy, or obvious, as she thought. But just because life is filled with absurdity doesn't mean she won't dive into it, learning more about herself, and the world, that she ever thought possible.

Though aimed primarily at young adults, the wisdom and humor in the story can be enjoyed by all ages.

About the Author

Mr. Hohler lives in Michigan with his wife and two children. His favorite band is Nine Inch Nails, his favorite movie is Touch of Evil and his favorite team is the Manchester United. His debut novel, Girl Band, was touted as being 'not bad' in its first review and he was recently voted America's Greatest Father by the children in his own home. In addition to the already mentioned novel, Girl Band, he also wrote the young-adult novel, it's not a chick flick, and the novel for adults, While You Were Here.
