Editorial Reviews

Booknews
The quality of the 163 color drawings is so astonishing technically and aesthetically superior to photographs--that it's a shame that it confines itself to those species most likely to be caught for fun by sportsmen. The accompanying text focuses on the ecology and natural history of each species. Paper edition (unseen), $17.95. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
Arkansas Game and Fish
Magnificent artwork. One of the most enjoyable and enlightening fish books you'll ever read.
Chattanooga Times
The illustrations are so lifelike that one can almost hear the fish struggle to get off the page.
Kansas City Star
Tomelleri is a fish illustrator of great renown, widely acclaimed for his precise yet elegant renderings.
