    Help for a beginner!

I've heard this title is good for paddlers of all levels, but I can only attest that for a beginner, it was essential! I'm a competitive swimmer and thought it would be a breeze to pick up kayaking. I was surprised at how much technique and strength I was lacking. This book (recommended by a friend) was helpful in developing the new muscle strength I needed. Great photos and detailed explanations. Many exercises I could do at home with no extra equipment, also some I could try at the gym.
