About the Author

Born and raised in England. Charlotte immigrated to California, USA in her twenties. There she witnessed firsthand the butchery of a major face-lift to her former partner and vowed never to have a face-lift. Ten years later, following the breakup of her marriage she returned to England to raise her new baby daughter. At thirty she investigated cosmetic treatments and surgery to eradicate the previously unseen stresses of ageing; such as fold and wrinkles but instead began in earnest facial exercises.
Eighteen years later, her daughter suffered a horrendous near fatal accident in which she sustained major facial trauma with 21 fractures to her face. Despite Charlotte's abhorrence to facial surgery for purely cosmetic reasons, Charlotte was in 100% agreement with the cosmetic surgery that her daughter needed (5 plates & 25 screws) TO SAVE HER LIFE.
Ultimately, her daughter survived, graduated with an honours degree and now lives in Australia. Charlotte returned to live in Florida. USA but as of late owing to her mother's ailing health has returned to live in the UK.
Charlotte has practised facial exercises for over 25 years, has taught friends and lectured on the subject of facial muscles, facial ageing, facial skin, how to slow the ageing process gracefully and all the more drastic alternatives to exercise.
Having perfected the best hand's free exercises and a vast array of knowledge she completed the first edition of Fitface in 2008. In 2010 she added photographs with additional information and the book tripled in size. With the success of Fitface and the increase in the ebook market it was suggested that she bring out a book just about the exercises. She has responded by publishing Fitface Foundations which is essentially just the exercises from the 2010 version.
Charlotte has appeared on TV and radio both in the USA and UK including ABC News, BBC radio Solent and various newspapers and magazines both on and offline.
