This eBook "Five Little Monkeys" was difficult reading. Words and pictures did not match. Grainy illustrations. Sorry I made this purchase. I enjoyed this book with my children and thought it would be equally wonderful on my NOOK, reading to my grandchildren. Again what a mistake. Can I return this book and receive a refund or NOOK credit towards another purchase?????? Didn't think so.

Five Little Monkeys Are Going to Jump on the Bed!

Five Little Monkeys Jumping On The Bed by Eileen Christelow They have to take a bath because it was bed time. They were jumping on the bed and one fell off. The mama said now I can go to bed after she put them all to bed with booboos on their heads. I like this book because it is funny. They were happy, silly, and funny. Great Book!!!

My 3yr old loves this books!!!! He loves the part when the the doctor said "No more monkeys jumping on the bed". I love the way the author repeats the same scenario, it helps my son to do the countdown of the monkeys one by one as they fall off the bed. In the back is nice little treat with lots of stickers!

Love the book. It's a classic. My daughter loves it too. My only thought is that the illustrations are somewhat complicated to look at and decipher. I personally like them myself, but I'm wondering how difficult it is for my children to see what's actually in the picture...the illustrations are impressionistic in a way.

Monkeys Will Be Monkeys

Wonderful story at bedtime with enough repetition to make it an immediate hit (children find it easy to memorize the pattern). These monkeys are playful and carefree until they're reminded not to jump on the bed. It's an important message for all youngsters. Great book and very durable for years of reading pleasure.

A Great Gift!

I would highly recommend this wonderful book as a gift. I read it to all my children when they were small. The book is engaging, and a wonderful story at bedtime. Plus, the board book is very durable. It is also something that can be shared through multiple generations.

Cute Monkeys, Funny Mommy Monkey, Easy Rhyme. You'll love it!

This book is a fun read because of the repetition. The author and illustrator took a common nursery rhyme and added great pictures with lots of details. I especially like the ice packs on the monkeys' heads. The artwork portrays the mother rolling her eyes and calling a doctor (who we assume is the daddy monkey). Finally, after all the monkeys fall off, get hurt, and are tucked back in bed, the Mom gets to jump on her own bed!! At least she does it in private. I think it's hilarious. Kids love seeing which monkeys are girls or boys and chanting the rhyme as you read it together.

good book for learning to read

its my 2 year olds favorite. We have read it so many times she can now repeat the words without me reading them. she knows what is going to happen. A great book for teaching.
