Sometimes a man’s just gotta call for backup…

Delta Heat, Book 1

Marti Kowalski is all wrong for Officer Jackson Teague—he just won’t listen to reason. She didn’t finish high school, runs a bar. Has a tattoo and a blue streak in her hair. Yet he still wants to marry her? She can’t say she’s not tempted, but she’s got a bucket list to complete before she ties the knot.

Not just any bucket—more like a fifty-five-gallon drum of sexual wishes so explicit, there’s no way one man, even Jackson, can fulfill them all.

When Marti turns him down again, Jackson insists on knowing why. That’s when she shows him her list. He takes it, thinks about it—and calls on the only men he can trust: four buddies from his academy graduating class.

Between the five of them, he’s sure they can come up with a plan to check off every item on her list in one wild, wicked weekend. That is, if she has the nerve to follow through—and if he can bear to share her.

Warning: Contains five men on a mission to break down the resistance of one determined woman, using everything in their arsenal from BDSM accoutrements to roleplay of non-consensual situations.

The book starts off strong by fulfilling one of Marci's fantasies, but her strategy may just backfire on her when Jackson agrees to fulfill them. This book includes nonstop sex with multiple partners and may just help you find a new appreciation for what your local law enforcement is capable of performing. I love that it also had a full plot in addition to the steamy erotica. Can't wait to get my hands on the next cop, I mean book.

This may be one of the hottest little reads in a while. I have actually not ever been into romances with cops before, (step-dad was a cop, so Ewww!!) but this has so much Romance in it, i was able to put my own stuff away and got caught up in the relationship. While the sex is so hot you almost need an oven mitt to read the book, there is actual romance between these two. It really is a book about trust and sacrifice and how much a man will do to please the woman that he knows is his. Way to go!!

The writing was well done overall, but one line (from the heroine) in this book says it all for me..."how does a guy ever forget that his best friends have been deep inside his woman"? The premise wasn't convincing to me that a man would go to such an extreme to prove his love, so I couldn't get completely invested in the story or the HEA. The love scenes with the H/H alone were hot, but those with the other guys seemed passionless and flat thus I skimmed them for the most part. I'd be interested to read the other guys story, although I hope they don't all sleep with each other's women. ;-)

I genuinely liked this story. It has all the components laughter, love, fear, suspense, etc. I would have loved to read more about each character. The authors covers the background on the heroine in a few short paragraphs and barely hints at the relationship between the police officers. Some had been friends all their lives. A lot of history and character depth was left out. There could have been a lot more to this story and I would have loved reading every page.
