Life is pretty simple, when we ask the hard questions, rather than just living vicariously through the lives of others. Valder Beebe Five Wishes, is my year-end favorite book that continues to inspire me to focus on my life, why I am here, and what I plan to accomplish for me and the planet. Take time to read Five Wishes because it will `change the way you look at things¿so the things that you look at will change.¿ Five Wishes: How Answering One Simple Question Can Make Your Dreams Come True by Gay Hendricks (Author), Neale Donald Walsch (Foreword) Embracing life-changing questions. At the end of your life will you answer yes to: ¿Was Your Life A Complete Success¿? This is what Gay Hendricks puts forth in small yet powerful questions: What am I really doing here on the planet? What is my life purpose? Do I have a sacred mission? Five Wishes offers a path to inspire each of us to seek answers to the ultimate questions in life.

It helped me realize what was more important to less. I have done everything that I can since I have read this book, to live by what is written.

Five Wishes - Make Your Dreams Come True

This book is on how to discover five wishes that will give you a fulfilled life beginning from the perspective of looking back. A stranger had asked the author to imagine himself on his deathbed and to consider this question: 'Was your life a complete success?' If not, 'What would be the things you'd wish had happened that would have made it a success?' This is a great technique for unlocking the power of ¿tricking¿ ourselves into figuring out what is truly most important to us and what is our destiny. How sad to live our whole life and never really ask ourselves, ¿What is my destiny?¿ If you want to focus on both body and mind, also check out ¿The 3:00 PM Secret: Live Slim and Strong, Live Your Dreams¿.

    Inspirational

One of the more inspirational points to this book was that it was autobiographical. There is no doubt this experience was real. There was a lot of heart soul searching involved quite obviously. It's a personal testimony of how a person altering their perspective on problems we can change the ultimate outcome in their life. This attitude helps a person become more committed to their decisions, helping them follow through and complete things - which leads to peace and harmony as the author writes: 'What I've come to see is that completing something, no matter how large or how small, puts you into harmony with the universe.' This is interesting. So many goals on a personal level or corporate level or even as a government could be achieved if people took this perspective. The author claims it was a question from a stranger that brought about all this soul searching. For me it was this book. Whatever it takes, people should every now and then evaluate where they stand in their life and in the universe. It is strange how off course you can get.
