    Recipes For the Real World

This cookbook is filled with recipes using ingredients that we all have at home, no special shopping, or one time use only ingredients needed. Every recipe I've tried is easy to put together and tasty enough for the entire family or for company. Includes the nutrition information for each serving. One of my new favorite cookbooks.

My New Favorite Slow Cooker Cookbook!

This little book is jammed with easy, home-style recipes for your slow cooker--and all of them healthy. I made four recipes from the book this week, and every one was terrific. Tonight I had Turkey and Zucchini Vegetable Bake, which was only 80 calories per serving! The recipes in the book were collected from people all across the country (though a good number seem to be from PA Amish country, where the author lives). Tomorrow I am going to try the Apple Crisp--sounds wonderful!

    Absolutely the Best Slowcooker Book

I have several slowcooker recipe books, and this is absolutely the best! Hundreds of recipes to choose from. Every one we've tried is delicious. Recipes can easily be adapted for those who don't like to eat 'light'.

I absolutely love this cookbook! I never really grew up in a home that had meals cooked in a crockpot let alone meals that would be considered healthy. I have prepared a weeks worth of meals from this cookbook and not only are the recipes easy to follow but the ingredients are things that most of us shop for and use already in our kitchens. The recipes also leave room for you to adjust things to your liking but still keep the meals healthy and tasteful. You can literally fix it and forget it. I was cooking my dinner meals the day before and quickly reheating the next day for a week and didn't eat out at fast food chains and lost weight, I had home cooked meals daily which is hard for us to do alot of the time. Highly recommend!

    Disappointed

I was disappointed with this book. The recipes don't have any description or any pictures. There's really nothing to guide readers to what might be ideal for what they are looking for. I appreciate that the nutritional facts are provided, but in general, I was expecting much better.

Really Recommended for Busy Houe holds !!!!

It's a gift to my sister-in-law and she just returned from a trip. Therefore, she has not had a chance to try any recipes yet. I did send her a list of recipes that I have enjoyed.
Any new recipes that she tries, but I had not tried, she'll tell me if they're good.

    Great Slow Cooker Cookbook

I enjoyed this cookbook so much, I ended up buying another copy for my mother for Christmas. Great value, great recipes, very simple. Great for those of us with little time on our hands, especially in the winter when a warm meal is a bonus. Highly recommended.

My wife called it the "Forget It and Forget It" cook book.

She bought it with the intention of using the expensive crock pot cooking system that she had to have. When the book contained no pictures of finished products, so she would know that she'd done it right, she quickly lost interest.....I believe that both the book and the crock pot cooking system have been re-boxed and are in the garage somehwhere.

    Great Cookbook!

I received this cookbook for Christmas and have already made a number of the meals. They are quick and easy, not too many ingredients in most, and my family has loved everything so far!

    Amazing book!!

I've made a few recipes from this and they were all VERY easy and VERY tasty! All the recipes use everyday items that you probably already have or are easy to find. I like the fact that it has multiples of the same recipe, but with different ingredients.
