I absolutely love this cookbook! I never really grew up in a home that had meals cooked in a crockpot let alone meals that would be considered healthy. I have prepared a weeks worth of meals from this cookbook and not only are the recipes easy to follow but the ingredients are things that most of us shop for and use already in our kitchens. The recipes also leave room for you to adjust things to your liking but still keep the meals healthy and tasteful. You can literally fix it and forget it. I was cooking my dinner meals the day before and quickly reheating the next day for a week and didn't eat out at fast food chains and lost weight, I had home cooked meals daily which is hard for us to do alot of the time. Highly recommend!
This is absolute the worst cookbook that I have ever used. I tried multiple recipes and they all turned out bad. There are plenty other slow cooker cookbooks out there that you should skip this one and just " lighten up" those recipes.
Fairly simple recipes, and quite tasty, or at least the ones I've tried so far!
I was disappointed with this book. The recipes don't have any description or any pictures. There's really nothing to guide readers to what might be ideal for what they are looking for. I appreciate that the nutritional facts are provided, but in general, I was expecting much better.
