Sylvie ConstantineIn a sense, Flaming Iguanas is to the road novel what Don Quixote was to the knightly romance -- i.e., a satire -- but it is much funnier and has a definite feminist Amazon chaotic twist. Nothing is too sacred to escape Lopez's astute tongue. -- Lesbian Review of Books

Flaming Iguanas, by Erika Lopez is the story of one woman's everyday adventures as she travels in her one-woman motorcycle gang, 'The Flaming Iguanas.' The main character has great observations about everyday life with relentless and inspiring humor. In my opinion, this book is similar, but far superior to Bridget Fonda's Diary.
