Just to demonstrate exactly how the Nook worked I had the salesman at Salem, NH Barnes and Noble show me how to download a book onto my newly purchased Nook. This wee bittle collection of flash fiction short stories was the first free book that came up in our search and so we downloaded it and for posterity sake I decided to read it. It was a real quick read with all short stories being 1000 words or less I was able to breeze right through the readings. Some were deliberatly funny others made this reader think, while some made me cry, all pointed at the realness of the human condition. To capture such a wide range of emotions all within a short word limit is to show true skill at the craft of writing. Not all stories captured my imagination but ther majority were breath taking and captivating. Robert-Atwood
