The essential guide to upgrading to Flash MX

This book is a gem. The first thing I typically do after upgrading a key application is to start searching for a book that explains the new features, without having to slog through all the features from previous versions most books can't help but cover. This book is different - it's exactly the book I've always wanted. Just the facts - no fat, no clutter, nothing you already know and everything that's new. Every software application should be so lucky to have a book like this written about it's upgrade. Bhangal does a masterful job, not only detailing the new features, but explaining the significance of each one and how it will change the way you think about (and work with) Flash. It's obvious that Bhangal was able to work closely with the Flash development team, as his knowledge of the new feature set is comprehensive. If you're a Flash 5 user, you owe it to yourself to buy this book and get a headstart on Flash MX. If you're looking for one book that will tell you exactly what's new - and what's hot - in Flash MX, look no further.
