To those who criticize these stories as too short to be substantive, notice that several were originally published at the Flashshot web site. The maximum length allowed for Flashshot stories was at one time 120 words, subsequently lowered to 100 words. With that kind of limitation, all a writer can do is sketch a story that readers must broaden and elaborate on with their own imaginations. In that respect, several of these succeed.

Even though it was free I feel cheated. You should not call these stories. They are merely six sentence ideas thay aren't even worthwhile. Each story took five seconds to read and wasn't even interesting in the process. Horrible waste of time!

While they were nice ideas each story is too short to peak your interest or give you a good idea of what's actually going on.

Not only are the stories anything but scary, they're not even enjoyable to read.

More of a mild suspense than fear-inspiring. In all, a good read for a slow rainy day.

Very short. Hard to develop a plot in a 30-second story. Hated the violence of the last story.

Six short stories, only the first has any build up, the rest is quick to the punch. Ok if you are in the mood for some quick light reading, if you want substance this is not the book.
