Flashlight turns your screen into a Flashlight.

Light up the Dark. Find Things at Night. Use it as You would a Flashlight.

Please Note: Tap on the Screen to Get Settings. You can change brightness and color of your Flashlight.

4 NEW additions to Flashlight. You will have to tap on 'Change Effect' button to switch between Flashlight and new additions.

1) Candle. Light up the dark using a candle. The flame flickers and waxes and wanes just like a real candle.

2) Plasma Lamp. Choose your favorite colors and then let the Plasma Lamp relax you.

3) Candleabra - Two Candles on your screen.

4) Sky - Blue Sky.

Please Note: Tap on 'Change Effect' button to switch between Flashlight, Plasma Lamp, Candle, Candleabra, and Sky. If you don't see 'Change Effect' button - tap on the screen to show buttons.

***Flashlight is easy to use:

1) Set the Brightness of the Screen using a Slider.
2) Set the Color of the Screen using Sliders for Red, Green, and Blue colors.
3) Turn On or Off using a simple button (there is a Flashlight Icon in the center of the screen - just tap it to turn flashlight on or off).
4) Tap the Screen at any time to get Settings. If you don't want to see Settings - tap the 'Hide Settings' button.
5) Exit Flashlight by pressing the Back button in the Status Bar or pressing the physical 'n' button below the screen.

Please Note: Using Flashlight drains the battery faster than usual. It's meant to be used as a Flashlight only. If you have your device plugged into the wall charger, then it's OK to use Flashlight as a Night Light that's on non-stop.

    Very practical and well-done

    This is a very practical and useful tool, that works exactly like described. I like that you can adjust both brightness and color easily and even toggle the flashlight off and on without closing the app if you want to. Works even better than similar apps on my phone (and of course a bigger screen means more light)!

    I LOVE IT!

    This app is really cool! Yes, IF you have a blank page that is white, AND the brightness is turned all the way up, it probably isn't any brighter. BUT, when I am reading a novel, especially at night, I normally don't have the brightness turned up. This app is a fast one-tap way to get light fast! ( like having to go to the bathroom) Also, it coesn't have to be white: there are slider bars to adjust whichever color you wish. Thanks...this is one I will use a lot!

    Super Convienant

    To the comment below it is a nook's light, x4. Used it during northeast coast snow storm blackout of Oct 2011 and its served its pupose. Greatbfor emergencies. Much brighter than inexpected will lighten up a small bathroom. It will help you navigate to find things or your way out.

    Flashlight app works

    I used this app on my nook tablet to help find my sisters shoe in the car at night so it was pitch dark and her shoe was black so this app is helpful and it works great.

    I aggree good for reading normal books and i like cuz u can hide settings and if u use on home it will burn in after awhile so i like

    Its bright and has diffrant colors. I like it. Its more colorfull and brighter than a flashlight. And handier. And it has settings and you can adjust its brightness.

    Not what I expected

    It is way brighter than the lighted screen of the Nook. Changes color and it works well. Worth the dollar in my opinion.

    I like it because when i read books i cant afford on the nook it is mmuch easyer to use than holding a flashlight in your hand . Just set it up and enjoy

    Fun to play with

    Fun app, if you need a diversion every so often. The plasma lamp function allows user to change colors and speed of plasma flow. Candle settings are very cool, and will provide a bit of light a darkened room. None of this is useful, for sure, but certainly is fun. Be prepared for lots of battery usage when this app is turned on.

    I like this alot :)
    Its really soothing at times. But the cloudy sky isnt very good. Its kinda glitchy and not very smooth. The candle flames could also look more like flames. But the lava lamp is cool :)

    Useful

    I love this app. I used it during a power outage and it worked great!!!! I think everyone should get it and it will help them probably in some way. its free so there really is nothing to do but try. I also love it because you can change the colors so they're just right.
