About the Author:

Ryan McGinness is an artist who has exhibited his work internationally and been responsible for numerous performance events and pranks. His work makes strong social commentary on iconography, language, and historical and contemporary symbolism. His use of visual codes and signifiers subverts the very systems in which he operates. McGinness has designed music packaging, posters, magazine spreads, and corporate identities for some of today's major bands, publications, and organizations.
