This is a fun, off center take on the standard field guide to critters. Those who use field guides will find much to be amused about. Those with tender sensibilities will not. Read at your own risk. Definitely a good companion book to 'What Bird Did That'. Biologists and naturalists of all stripes (you should pardon the pun) will love both!

Loved this book! Great for those with a slightly skewed sense of humor. Uses outlines to illustrate common flattened fauna for quick identification at reasonable street and rural highway speeds. Actually works quite well. Descriptions are remarkably accurate. Great for long (or short) road trips. Wonderful gift for biology and natural science majors or anyone who frequently uses field guides - they'll appreciate the sendup immediately! Goes well with 'What Bird Did That', as well as with any of the Peterson guidebooks. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
