Overview

The bestselling Ethan Frost series introduces a tantalizing new hero—and the broken woman only he can save. Discover why Beth Kery once declared that readers of Tracy Wolff will “fall in love under the spell of a master.”

When Tori Reed loses everything, he sets her free.

I told myself I’d never trust Miles Girard, no matter how brilliant or sexy he may be. His sister, Chloe—Ethan Frost’s wife—is my best friend, but I know just how low Miles will stoop to get what he wants. Now he’s the last thing I want: my boss.

Growing up, I had it all—except for the sense that I belonged. And when a mistake from my past surfaces in the press, my parents don’t hesitate to cut me off.

But surprisingly, Miles offers me a helping hand.

Before I know it, our relationship turns unprofessional in the hottest ways. Of course, he still drives me crazy. But when I’m dealt the ultimate blow, Miles is there for me. And maybe he’s the one I’ve been looking for all along.

In Wolff’s shallow but fun fourth contemporary, linked to her Ethan Frost trilogy, a socialite fallen on hard times gets an unexpected hand up. Party-hard Victoria Reed is trying to slow her drinking, extricate herself from San Diego’s social whirl, and clean up her life, which includes refusing to sleep with her cheating ex. To get back at her, he releases a sex tape recorded without her knowledge while they were together. Her heartless, domineering father‚ who’s fed up with her wild behavior—and unaware that Tori’s trying to turn over a new leaf—completely disowns her. With no car, no phone, and no shoes, Tori hikes two miles to her friend Chloe’s supposedly vacant home, only to find that her archnemesis, Chloe’s brother, Miles, is living there. Miles has been trying to make amends for terribly wronging Chloe, but Tori never cuts him any slack. Though they’ve done nothing but take jabs at each other, he finds it difficult to turn her away when she shows up in need of help. Extremely lengthy sex scenes dominate the relationship development, but individual growth eventually occurs as both Miles and Tori struggle to fight their emotional demons. This riches-to-rags story leaves a few unanswered questions, but readers will not feel cheated. Agent: Emily Sylvan Kim, Prospect. (Jan.)

Wonderful book!

Tech geek and Ms Hot Mess… Tori Reed is having the worst week of her life. Caught in a sex scandal, cut off from her trust fund with no home, car, phone, or clothes, she’s all but lost everything except her attitude. The facade she shows the world is a mask to hide behind, to hide how vulnerable she is. Except her best friend Chloe, no one knows how fragile, unloved she feels, and in need of genuine human goodness and warmth. Tori is mouthy, defiant, and quite a character with her multi-colored hair and tattoos. Now, feeling lost and adrift, she is determined to put on her big girl panties and get her life on track. Miles Girard is protective of Tori, he is still feeling remorse over not being able to protect his little sister, and bitter for what his parents let happen to Chloe. It’s no secret Tori mistrusts him because of what happened to her best friend. Seems Tori feels as he’s the enemy, but Miles is making up for it by reconnecting with his sister, and working for Frost Industries. When Miles learns about the revenge tape Alex Parsons releases of Tori, he’s working tirelessly through the night to take down the video. He won’t let a unconscionable, selfish act ruin her life. But tenderness and good intentions from Miles get Tori a lot prickly, it’s unfamiliar and uncomfortable. Her newfound feelings and attraction for Miles leaves her confused and insecure. Flawed is the fourth book in the Ethan Frost series, and reads as a standalone. I did not read the previous books but feel the author provided glimpses of the past enough to bring me up to date on the characters. I enjoyed reading Miles and Tori’s story, and loved the sizzle between these two unlikely characters. Enjoyed how swoon-worthy Miles is and how he gave Tori the much needed love, tender care and warmth she craved. Ms Wolff brings it all together in a wonderful epilogue. I received a copy from Random House Publishing Group - Loveswept via NetGalley. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

The fourth book in the Ethan Frost series expands to the story of his brother-in-law Miles and his wife Chloe's BFF Tori. The story was intense, filled with family drama, angst, riddled with payback and the ugliness of rape and the victims it leaves behind. The dialog moved along at a quick pace, the banter between BFF's was heartwarming, but the true center of the story was Miles and his need to fix everything for Tori. The couple's bedroom romps were off the charts with explosive chemistry, their fights were epic in Tori always over reacting to Miles needing to fix her hot mess of a life, all the while taking care of her. I understood Miles' mindset, but had a hard time wrapping my mind around Tori's temper tantrums and always running away/out anytime Miles disagreed with her, or tried to fix things for her. I understood Tori wanting to stand on her own, but thought she was too over the top with her reactions. This book was provided by the Publisher and Netgalley, I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

So disappointed. Loved the other Ethan Frost books, but not this one. Weak plot.

There is something about the tried and true connection between two people that "hate" each other. The author takes that hot formula and brings us a steamy read that is so yummy, you might just combust yourself. Miles is hot and has family issues and guilt he is working to over come. Tori is a trust fund girl, never taken seriously, but yet wants to stand on her own. Miles is very protective of Tori, even though the "hate" is between them.... until it is not! The author creates a great storyline that is loaded with heat, anticipation, and deliciously hot connections! Oh, yeah. Definitely grabbing her other books in the series!

Wow! Just when you thought you read the best story yet, Tracy releases another amazing read! Tori Reed thinks she has lost everything good in her life when Alex (her ex) brings a mistake from their past together into the present, and her family disowns her and she feels that she has no place to go. Miles Girard steps in and takes care of her and plans his own revenge to bring Alex down for his misdeeds. Tori is best friends with Miles sister Chloe so therefore they have seen and been through plenty over the years. and Tori finally realized the true Love of her life has been by her side the entire time! Definitely recommend to others!

This was a good read for me, I Tori is disowned by her uncaring family and she is forced to move in with her best friend and finds her best friend’s brother there instead. I liked the story as well as the characters, although I did like Miles better than Tori. This is a fast paced read with plenty of drama and steamy sex. A good read.

I was given a gifted copy by NetGalley. Tori feels as if she doesn’t belong to anybody and anywhere. She is like a puppet in her father’s hand. She doesn’t feel loved or what it is even worse she doesn’t feel worth to be loved. So when somebody is tender and kind to her, she can’t understand why and she looks for an ulterior intention. Miles has been fighting with Tori since the very first time they met. Tori doesn’t trust him because what he‘d done to his sister. However, now it is all she has to get out of the complicated situation she is involved with. The problem is she can’t see it, she can’t see that all Miles wants is to help her, to save her from being hurt. The story has a lot of potential but I think it could have been better with more dialogues and more spaced in time. The story occurs in only two or three days which I think is not enough time for developing a good story. However, the author is good at writing about the feelings of the people. When a young person does crazy things, it is normally a call for attention and unfortunately, I’m not just referring to the novel but in real life as well. Most of the time, people are unable to see what’s under this behaviour. Sometimes it is repetitive, and something that annoyed me a lot was when the author uses three times in a row the same word. It is ok if you uses that two or three times in the whole book but more than that it is too much for my liking. I did love the Epilogue: it’s sweet, funny and makes me laugh.

I received this book as a ARC for an honest review for netgalley. This is my first Ethan Frost book.. But it will not be my last. I was not lost, the author give you enough information to keep you up to date. However, since I love this book, I will read the other. I personally loved Miles and Tori (but could I please have him!) the chemistry between those two rocked, and I loved how Tori and Chloe were so close as friends, it was awesome, considering how Tori's dad was horrible. The Epilogue was too cute, the only thing that I kind of wished was mentioned was Tori's brother, he seemed to have been forgotten about when he didn't disown her in the story, it just made me wonder why he wasn't mentioned in the end.

This is the icing on the Ethan Frost cake. I loved it. Tori is Chloe's best friend, Chloe now married and has a child with Ethan. Miles is Chloe's brother. Tori is in San Diego, now out of college and trying to get her self together. Get a good job, no more parties and drinking. Tone down the wild child image that she's had for so long. She's doing ok. One night in a blink changes that and leaves Tori without a thing except a few pieces of clothing and the money she grabbed from her drawer. Her father who is and has always been a major a** and makes no bones about how he feels about Tori, disowns her. Meaning she has no home, no phone, nothing in her condo, not even a pair of shoes. She flees to Ethan and Chloe's house, since they've moved to San Fran. What Tori doesn't know is that Miles is living there. He's working for Ethan on a project. Miles is brilliant, but he's a bit scatter brained and focused. He and Chloe have made amends for his part the family fiasco, but Tori the overprotective friend has been brutal to him every time they see each other. Tori has a razor sharp tongue and she's quick and uses it every chance she gets on Miles. Miles was up all night that night so he sees the new break about Tori and this leaked video. So he sets about removing them from the internet. What he doesn't expect is for Tori to show up, she's got her own key and the code to the house. When she sees him she's in attack mode and he attacks right back. She doesn't tell him what's happened, she just needs to crash there for a few days. Miles is already angry about what's happened and the banter between these two. Ouch! But peace is made; they're civil and as soon as they burn up the sheets the relationship shifts. It's like the tilt-a-whirl ride at the fair! Wow! Yes they have their ups and downs and in and outs and everything in between. Meanwhile Tori is still trying to get a handle on herself and her situation. Miles is just trying to help. This story played out so well, Miles bugged the beans out of me in the Ethan Frost books, like nails on a chalkboard, but this book we get to see him up close and personal and what makes him tick. How he really feels about his sister and the reasons he's so protective of Tori. Then we get to see Tori also, come full circle. I loved the way these two evolved, the banter between them, the honesty and the hurt as well. This is a great book. A good nightcap for the Frost books. I'm in for a 4.7, well deserved Tracey. **arc from NetGalley and Loveswept in exchange for a fair review**

I was so excited when I found out about this book. Tracy Wolff's Ethan Frost series was the first books of hers that I read. I was immediately addicted to her writing. Although Flawed didn't consume me like the other Ethan Frost books did, I still very much enjoyed it. I love me a good enemies to lovers romance. Tori is putting her bad girl days to rest, until a scandal results in her life as she knows it being ripped away. The consequences bring her in close proximity with Miles, her best friend's brother. Chloe and Miles soon find out that it's a fine line between love and hate. If you've read the Ethan Frost novels, you know that Miles was sort of painted as a bit of a villain. Fear not, he is redeemed. I totally fell for the sexy, nerdy man with the big brain and an even bigger heart. Tori was a bit different and was a little harder to figure out. At times she came across as a little too emotional and ungrateful, but there was plenty of room for growth and she worked it all out in the end. Flawed didn't have the same level of intensity and emotion as the first books in this series, and I felt that it was a little rushed but there was still plenty of swoon and heat to keep me happy.

Flawed was a great read. It gives us Tori Reed and Miles Girard story. Miles is Tori's enemy because of what happened between Miles and his sister Chloe years ago. Chloe is Tori's best friend and they would do anything for each other. Tori's past literally breaks her and with nowhere to go she ends up in her enemy's house. However, Miles shows Tori that he's better than she thinks he is and he is actually sweet, caring and thoughtful. Tori has never experienced what Miles does for her with anyone else and this completely confuses her. This story was my perfect type of book because even though Tori frustrated me at times, I was just waiting for the moment for her to realize Miles was the one for her and hoping it wouldn't be too late. I would definitely read more books from this author.

I absolutely loved this addition to the Ethan Frost series. It may not be about Chloe or Ethan, but we see glimpses of them throughout it. I’ve been waiting ages for Tori’s story. She’s intrigued me since I met her in the first book. She’s sassy, protective, and doesn’t usually let crap bother her. But you can tell she has a vulnerable side, and we finally get to see that. And Miles!!! I swore up and down that I hated his character from the beginning of the series, but he manages to redeem himself in the best way possible. He’s a totally different person than I saw him as. These two heat up the pages like no other. They are passionate and trying to figure who they are to each other after everything that happens with Tori. I loved reading every single page, and was a little sad when it was over. If you’re a fan of the Ethan Frost series, you have to pick this one up to see what’s going on with Miles and Tori.

Flawed by Tracy Wolff is Book 4 of the Ethan Frost Series. An ARC was generously provided in exchange for an honest review and I did so voluntarily. While this is a part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. There is just the right amount of backstory to keep you in the know for this book. This is Miles' and Tori's story. Having not read the others within this series caused me no issues with the reading of this one. The storyline is interesting and well-done, the world is well-defined and the characters are solid and engaging. With that being said, I didn't enjoy Tori as much as I had expected; she was a freaking hot mess, went a bit over the top in most of her actions and it really took away from me connecting with her as much as I would have. Miles...I loved him through and through. Overall, I enjoyed the story and I do recommend it to others.

Tori and Miles have a stormy relationship. She blames him for what happened to his sister, Chloe, and has no problems being a royal, pompous a** to him. Tori was not likable to me at all in this book. She claimed to be strong, and then wilted on the vine and lashed out at those who were trying to help her. Yes, her father was not supportive and used and verbally abused her, but she went out of her way to be the bad child in order to get even. The only one she wound up hurting was herself. She dressed trashy, acted trashy and drank too much. She would say that she was going to start down a new path and then do exactly what she claimed she wasn't. Miles knows to steer clear of her when she gets her sights set on him at a party. She verbally abused him throughout this book and I was not a fan of that at all. When he called her on her crap, she would try and spew even more BS at him. She ran when things got tough and was a mess. Miles treated her with kid gloves at points, called her out on her BS at points, and tried to support her throughout the book. I liked Miles a lot and he was the only redeeming character that kept me reading the book. Tori was shown on a sex tape and Miles set about destroying the evidence, even though she treated him like gum on the bottom of her shoe. When he went about trying to help her get some necessities, she flew off the handle and acted like a spoiled brat. The things she spewed at him were ridiculous, especially in light of the fact that he clearly ordered them the day before without any knowledge of what would happen that night. I did like how he called her out and didn't just let her spew all of her pent up venom on him. He also had to call her out on running away and not staying to let him get his side of the story in when another incident happens. Overall an okay read but you need to be able to get past the h's many issues. I was graciously provided an ARC of this book by NetGalley for an honest review.

3.5 stars- Sweet and spicy enemies to lovers Enemies to lovers is always a fun trope for me. The banter immediately got my attention and had me eager to see how this couple would come together. The writing was fluid and the characters interesting. I always like when it’s the heroine who is hesitant to commit, and Tori was a good-albeit frustrating- character to fill that role. Flawed is the fourth book in the Ethan Frost series but can certainly be read as a standalone, which is what I did. It involves characters and references conflicts from previous books but never leaves the reader grasping to understand the dynamic. The main conflict within the book is brought to attention quickly. It was a different set up forcing the enemies together so they’ll see each other fully. I liked that aspect. The couple did get together rather quickly. While I liked that because it meant lots of steam and room to build the relationship, I did miss the little sniping remarks between them. I also liked how well the alternating first person POV provided insight to what triggered the animosity. I appreciated that Miles POV explained the guilt he harbored, rather than let the reader’s view to be colored by Tori’s opinion. The romance between Tori and Miles was steamy and sweet. I found the immediate lust that grows into more deep feelings believable and was rooting for the couple right away because they came across as a good match. Miss Wolff certainly writes fantastic sex scenes loaded with heat. The humor is also noteworthy. The author inserts funny moments during the emotional and tense scenes using both dialogue and internal thoughts. These spots of laughter made the book flow and feel natural, keeping it light but not superficial. As much as I enjoyed the start of the book, the pacing drug a little during the middle. There was a lot of set up to the final conflict, and I found myself less glued to the pages. I loved the banter so much at the start and I missed it later in the book. Perhaps that’s what slowed the book for me. However, the conclusion was really interesting and unexpected, resolving the conflicts and leaving me content. I really enjoyed how Wolff wove current news stories into the fictional story, enabling the reader to connect with the characters. Overall, I enjoyed this book and think that fans of this series or fans of enemies to lovers romances will too. *eARC provided by publisher to Alpha Book Club via Netgalley. I am a huge Ethan Frost fan and was so excited to be getting another book...it didn't matter that Ethan was only in it a little, it was still awesome. Flawed is about Chloe's best friend, Tori Reed and Chloe's brother Miles Girard. These two can't stand each other, but sometimes that makes for the most fun. Tori is mad Miles accepted the "hush" money his parents received to cover up Chloe's rape from years ago to start his inventions to make money for the family business. Miles didn't realize that is where that money came from. He was too preoccupied in his own little world, being the really smart, really nerd tech geek! (one of my favorites!!!!) For the past year, Tori and Miles have had a love/hate relationship but what neither of them realize is that they both have attractions to each other. These two run into each other at a mutual friend's engagement party and really heat up the dance floor, not by Tori's choice! Such a great scene! Just before Tori leaves the party she runs into her ex and has a rather unfortunate experience. What she doesn't realize is that the next morning her world as she knows it is going to implode. Imagine who comes to her rescue, but Miles. What starts out as just a guy helping a girl when she is down, quickly evolves into something more meaningful. If you love a sassy mouthed female and a sexy, techie geek, read this book! You get a really good look into what makes each of these characters be the person that they really are. I just adore Miles....A LOT! Tori was always the "fun" friend but you really get a different look at her life in the story...it will really pull at your heartstrings. Overall, I loved this book, loved the characters and really enjoyed Miles and Tori's journey to their happy ending!

Loved, loved, loved!! Miles Girard is my new favorite nerdy bbf! Miles is usually glued to his computer screen working on his next great invention. Then Tori Reed lands in his world and nothing will ever be the same. Sure she hates him and blames him for part of the heartache suffered by his sister Chloe (Tori's best friend) but right now she needs him. After being disowned and having her over privileged world turned up side down, Tori doesn't have many places to turn. Staying at Chloe's San Diego home until she figures out her life seems like a great plan. Until she realizes Miles Girard, Chloe's brother, is already staying there. They both soon discover that they don't know each other as well as they thought they did and a spark of attraction is ignited. Will they be able to walk away without getting burned?? Put this one on the must read list. I highly recommend it.
