This book had a lot of potential, but it was very disappointed.  The basic story line is a good one but wasn't fleshed out enough.  The
characters were one dimensional and blinkered.  The ending was very predictable and needs follow up.

The book has 20 chapters, I only really enjoyed 2 or 3 chapters where the fight against the sinister forces happened in New Orleans.

The story as a whole seemed to be rushed and needed to be fleshed out more.  unfortunately, there were numerous spelling errors and
grammatical errors in the novel as well.  I was hoping for more.

If a sequel was to be written I would like to read it even though the rating is low there is a lot of potential.  Perhaps a rewrite of this book.

    R2R: Flee

(I received a free copy, in exchange for a review)

Aurora has a very unusual secret, one that her mother has spent her life protecting. She can fly. Aurora has tried to lead an as normal life, settling in at law school, in Texas. Little did she know that being here was going to open this secret wide open and introduce her to a whole network of others, like her. Also, she meets her true bonded love, a British movie star, filming a movie, on the same campus. Everything takes an unexpected turn though and she has to struggle with her life, her new love, the safety of her family and her mission in life.

'It was a lie. I was afraid to run in the morning. I was afraid of the pecan grove. I was afraid because I could feel something watching me, even now.'

This story was not at all what I thought it would be! It took a turn that I was not expecting and was extremely fun to read. I hope the author keeps up with this story line, since this could turn out to be a fun series!

    Good story...but needs EDITING

I liked the story but the editing errors drove me crazy. The misuse of "your" when it should have been "you're" is unforgivable in a published novel, even if it's a short one. "Who" is used in error when it should be "why." Also there is a timeline hiccup which is irritating. A key moment happens when the law students get together for their traditional Halloween weekend campout, several weeks go by in main character's life as she deals with the fallout from said Halloween weekend but a character in the book says "it will be September before you know it." No timeline continuity!

Like I said, I like the story but this needs another set of eyes and re-editing in a big way. I'm not sure I'll read the next book, ever.

    LP.

What an awesome read.  I love that it isn't a typical paranormal type of story.  I really enjoyed the mystery, action, romance, and so much more, that this book had to offer.  My recommendation is if you haven't read this book, definitely add it to your TBR list!
