This is clearly the definitive text available on this emerging subject. This book could easily have been titled 'A Dummies Guide to Fleet Management' as it is very readable and most comprehensive. It covers all aspects from initial fleet analysis throught to managing the implementation - profitably. Of particular importance is its thoroughness of the service management as it is ultimately the key to contract profitably and user satisfaction. Like other Currie texts, the emphasis is on the 'process' the keystone of the successful japanese manufacturing philosophy.
