One half 'Children of the Corn' and one half high science, 'Flesh and Blood' is at times terrifying and creepy, at other times as pointed as the most noble of social science fiction. At the core of it is a collision of science and mythology that's unexpected and original. It's not perfect, the third act has some unexpected drag to it but, by the end, it's as invigorating a horror story as you'll read. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
