SYNOPSIS
After making one fatal mistake, Dr. Noble Cavanaugh is cursed by a powerful mage. His punishment: compete isolation. From people. From sensation. From life. But once a year Noble is freed from his prison and spends three bittersweet days with his devoted partner and lover, Sayer Lyon. They make love. They laugh. And they weep. And then at sunrise, he returns to his prison to wait for the next year's fall equinox. This is how it's been for five years, and this is how it will be for many more.

At least, that's what Noble and Sayer believe.

SAMPLE
The room was filled with the sweet scent of burning wood, the snap and crackle of fire, the flickering light of the flames dancing in the fireplace. They made it as far as the thick fur rug spread upon the floor in front of the fireplace.

Noble fell to his knees before Sayer and lifted his hands, pressing them against Sayer's stomach. His fingertips traced the lines etched in the muscular plane, and his eyes filled with raw emotion. "Tell me what you want."

Sayer sighed. What he wanted, Noble couldn't give him. A curse sat on his tongue. It tasted bitter, and he longed to spit it out, but he knew the price he'd pay if he did. Instead, he swallowed. Hard. Several times.

It was time to stay in the moment, to push everything else to the side. Otherwise, precious time would be lost. He would do this for Noble. For them both.

"I hurt," Sayer whispered. "I need you."

"I need you too."

"I can't wait another minute. I'm... sorry."

"No, don't apologize." Noble slid his hands down Sayer's body to his erect cock. With one hand, he gripped Sayer's rod, giving it a slow, long swipe. And with the other, Noble caressed his testicles, already snugged tight up against his body.

A glistening pearl of precum seeped from Sayer's cock, and Noble hungrily lapped it away. Then he opened his mouth and took Sayer's prick deep, until the flared head struck the back of his throat.

Sayer let his head fall back. A moan slipped from his lips. It had been so long since he'd been touched. Since he'd had anything but his own hand stroking his dick. It was heaven. Absolute bliss. If only they could do this every day. Every night. Every minute...

Editorial Reviews

Joyfully Reviewed - Cassie Joyfully Reviewed
Flesh to Flesh is a highly emotional story. Noble and Sayer feel everything from love, lust, and joy to deep sorrow, and it was impossible for me not to feel the emotions right along with them. The helplessness and frustration of the situation they’re in are telegraphed very well, especially after Sayer reveals his terrible news. Luckily for sappy, crybaby types like myself, there is a happy ending to Noble and Sayer’s tale.

    more from this reviewer

Cheesy...not that I expect much from erotic lit.

The descriptions of the garden are well written and give a descent sense of fantasy. The sex scenes were slightly 'inspiring' but there are definitely better options if that is why you want to read this book. I think Tawny could write an excellent drama. Even in this short of a book she manages to envoke a sense of attachment to her characters. Not bad, especially for only $1.00.
