Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
Praise for the Flip-a-Face series:

"Count on these board books to captivate young kids with a focus on faces—one of the first things infants recognize."
Child Magazine

"Winsome graphics set into motion two absorbing visual games: getting to know animals and looking closely at other babies' expressions." —Parenting Magazine

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
There are very few words to accompany the faces that fill the pages of this board book. The faces are simple ovals with little curlicues for hair and dots for the eyes and noses. As the die cut pages are flipped, the text indicates the color hair or some other characteristic in the image—no hair, black hair, brown hair, no glasses, purple glasses, orange hat, red bow, etc. Many of the images are repeated on the back cover. The cut out on the bottom of some of the pages makes them easier to flip. Part of the "flip-a-Face" series.
