A remarkable spiritual testimony, this complete transcription of Florence Nightingale's hitherto-unpublished diary (recorded during visits to Egypt and Greece in 1850) reveals the troubled period during which she finally realized that the answer to her call from God lay in service to humanity.

    fascinating!

I purchased this book to get a different perspective on Florence Nightingale. I was writing a paper about her for my college history class and wanted to go beyond the obvious. This book helped immensely and I got an A+! It's a fascinating book to read for pleasure as well. I still enjoy looking through it.
