Meet the Author

Lynn A. Coleman is an award-winning and bestselling author of Key West and other books. She began her writing and speaking career with how to utilize the Internet. Since October 1998, when her first fiction novel sold she's sold 30 books and novellas.

Lynn is also the founder of American Christian Fiction Writers Inc., and served as the group's first president for two years and two years on the Advisory Board. One of her primary reasons for starting ACFW was to help writers to develop their writing skills and to encourage others to go deeper in their relationship with God. "God has given me a gift," says Lynn, "but it is my responsibility to develop that gift."

Lynn has spoken at writers groups, women's groups, home-schooling organizations, church groups, conferences, workshops and retreats. "Lynn is informative, humorous, and approachable--what more can you ask for?" said one attendee.

She makes her home in Keystone Heights, Florida, where her husband of 41 years serves as pastor of Friendship Bible Church. Together they are blessed with three children, one in glory, and eight grandchildren.

Kristy Dykes—wife to Rev. Milton Dykes, mother to two beautiful young women, grandmother, and native Floridian—was author of hundreds of articles, a weekly cooking column, short stories, and novels. She was also a public speaker whose favorite topic was on "How to Love Your Husband." Her goal in writing was to "make them laugh, make them cry, and make them wait" (a Charles Dickens’s quote). She passed away from this life in 2008.

Kathleen E. Kovach and her husband Jim raised two sons while living the nomadic lifestyle for over twenty years in the Air Force. She's a grandmother, though much too young for that. Now firmly planted in Colorado, she's a member of American Christian Fiction Writers, and leads a local writers group. Kathleen hopes her readers will giggle through her books while learning the spiritual truths God has placed there.

In the first story, Cords of Love, Renee is falling in love with her employer. She seems to have a knack for this. Aaron¿s wife died a few years ago. He has finally accepted that. His little boy wants a mother, especially Renee. Then, Aaron¿s office is broken into. Did Renee do it? The second story, The Heart of the Matter, is the best of the three stories. Jeris is a child psychologist. She goes to church with a little boy, Brady, who wants a new mother. He is adorable. The minister¿s wife is determined that her prayer for Brady¿s father and Jeris to find love needs ¿legs¿. Will she be able to join them in love? In the last story, Merely Players, Brick broke Bethany¿s heart when he left her to seek his fortune. They meet again. Can love have a second chance? The conversations in the first and third story were a bit slow-moving. The minister¿s wife in the second story was a great character. I would love to read a story about her as the main character. This is a group of stories that have obvious endings. If you enjoy the ride as well as the destination, this is a book for you.
