I've read this book about three times and each time I've read it it becomes more disturbing. The general plot of the book is a little girl who has a stalker. He breaks into her room, follows her around, and kills her dog, and keeps sending her flowers. The family in the book is desperate to stop the man before something happens to the little girl, the police don't seem to be able to do anything so the parents take the situation into their own hands. Very suspenseful, Donna Anders best book by far. It makes you afraid that something like this could happen to your own daughter.
