Well, I do not know what the woman before me was thinking. I had to read this book for one of the movies I am directing based on the Story of Flowers of Algernon and a re-make of the 1968 film 'Charly.' I did not enjoy the book at all. I think it would make a wonderful featue film, but the book was not very amusing.

i m sorry but how come no 1 has writen a reveiw on this book this book has to be the greatest book ever made and 4 those people looking 4 a quick summary here it is: (u can thank me later) The story is manily about a 32 or some were there year old man who has a learning diability and gets tested on to make him smarter. His teacher, Ms.Kinnian helps Charly out through out the whole book. But as Charly goes on through life he finds himself remembering his family. The thing was that his family was ashamed of him and moved him else were. He worked in a bakery with his manager Mr.Donnar there he had several friends or did he... As Charly's brain developed he found that practicly everone was against him, call him a little paranoid but its the truth, well i mean just read it you'll find it good. At the end Charly goes buck wild and calls the whole thing off. for any coments or questions e-mail me or something k
