Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble

The magic of garden begins one flower at a time. Flowers in the World's Most Beautiful Gardens celebrates that magic by focusing on the blooms that set the palette in gardens that set the standard. Organized by the colorful plants that could star in any planned layout, this large format pictorial describes the designs, the changing technologies and aesthetics of floral presentation. Acting as guides in this close-up portrait are veteran garden photographer Alain Le Toquin and landscape architect and author Yves-Marie Allain. (P.S. Le Toquin's 180 photographs are drawn from his visits to more than 300 gardens in 23 countries on five continents.)
