About the Author

Derek A. Palgrave is a Chartered Chemist and Divisional Director of Chafer Fertilizers, at BritAg Industries Ltd., Chedburgh, Suffolk, England. The author of numerous scientific papers and patents, he is a Coeditor of the Fertilizer Science and Technology series (Marcel Dekker, Inc.). A Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and Institute of Risk Management, and a member of the Institute of Patentees and Inventors, Mr. Palgrave received the M.A. degree from Cambridge University, England.
