    EXCELLENT!

Duane Brown's Flying Without Fear is an excellent book for those who have some sort of fear of flying. I recently took my first "fearless" flight in December. Thanks to the book, I was able to relax and enjoy the entire flying experience. It's really quite liberating.

    I Also Recommend:

Great book to ease your mind when flying

This book is more of the psychological approach to dealing with a fear of flying. It helps you understand why you're afraid and teaches you how to calm yourself. The best part of it was that I recognized behaviors I do that I thought only I did such as watching the flight attendants' faces for any clues of alarm or feeling like I need to look out the window all the time to make sure the wing is still attached and there are no other aircraft near us in the sky. This book helped me rationalize my fear and hopefully I will be calmer next time I fly. From what I understand, it is very similar to the first edition but this book also includes information on terrorism and the security enhancements since 9/11.
