Meet the Author

Merideth Anderson has worked at the Knoxville Middle School in Knoxville, Iowa, as a special education teacher and most recently, as a sixth-grade mathematics teacher. She strives to challenge her students not only to grasp and apply many mathematical concepts but to enjoy math while learning. Merideth also serves on the District Leadership Team, which aids in developing and leading professional development opportunities to the district. Follow-the-Directions: Solve & Draw Math (written for both grades 3–5 and 6–8) is her first project with Scholastic.
