Tony Campolo is one of the finest voices Christians have today in the public arena. He speaks for tolerance, love, compassion and a mindset of Christ. This book is nothing more but a continuation of his lifelong pursuit of justice in the greatest Christian sense. In a day in which more and more persons are confusing - tragically - the word 'Christian' for such words as 'bigot,' 'prejudice,' 'intolerant,' 'racist,' etc., it is refreshing and, as a Christian, encouraging to see the likes of Tony Campolo speak his mind about today's vital issues facing Christians. Whether it is the need to protect life in all stages, the need to fight poverty and uplift the poor, the need to have true racial reconciliation or the need to accept all persons as they are - as Christ did - Campolo stands at the forefront of Christian issues. He is neither Christian Right or Left, but just plain Christian - good for him!
