This book was recommended by my favorite author, Mary Balogh! I am so glad I took her advice. This is a stunning book! The only problem was the size of the type, very teeny. I found out that it is a Published On Demand book, which I could not return for a larger print edition. It has been a challenge to read the fine print, but the book is fabulous!
The title is based on the Christmas story. A young heiress will be left penniless if she does not find a husband within a specified amount of time. A young minister longs to be able to go as a missionary to Africa. She proposes that he marry her in exchange for support for his missions. Of course she does not know that he loves her with his whole soul. Can Diana discover a heart she didn't know she had before it is too late? Very tender romance.
