Meet the Author

Julie chose a career in education after producing a video for a non-profit organization in Los Angeles starring children who were chronically ill. Her career as an educator evolved to include both the development and acquisition of preschool programs to teach preschoolers through elementary school aged children social skills through the sports of soccer and dance, respectively, until her twin sons were born. When one of her sons was diagnosed with food allergies at 5 months old she became proactive in learning how to manage his care.
