Meet the Author

MIKE COLAMECO is the host of PBS's popular Colameco's Food Show and WOR-Radio's Food Talk. A graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, he has worked in some of New York's best restaurants, including The Four Seasons and The Ritz-Carlton, where he was the executive chef.

    Good layout for finding specific categories of restaurants or bars.

    Mike being a chef gets you in the back door of places that can be of interest. He refers to other establishments the owner or chef may be tied to and how things got put together. I find it useful to understanding where I am going and what I can expect.

    Great resource for great dining

    Mike covers it all (almost). I've eaten in many of the places he recommends and he is right on the mark in calling out the cities winning eateries. Buy it and use it - you can't go wrong.
