Unbelievable Reads like a homework assignment from my 11 y

    Unbelievable

Reads like a homework assignment from my 11 year old son.
I really don’t understand how one could sell a brochure as an eBook and make somebody pay so much to read it. Books like these are giving kindle a bad name. I’m lucky I wasn’t one of the people to fall for this.
I read this on my friends kindle, and I must say this is one of the worst if not thé worst books I’ve read in a very long time. I won’t make this into a long review but here are just some of the things that really got to me:

-Its only for people residing in the bay area and who are familiar with the area, and some of the reviews are from restaurants I know for a fact don’t serve good food.

-The illustrations look like something out of a 6th grade culinary class. The pictures of the restaurants on the other hand are well taken.

    - Badly written descriptions, to drawn out talking about …… well, this goes on for pages, like the author is just filling the pages with sweet nothings, here is an example: It might even feel like a bit much, but you’ll find yourself smiling as they’re so jovial. This restaurant is classically Italian in aura, service, music, and-most especially- the food. Homemade pastas and dough, and the use of completely fresh ingredients make all their dishes as authentic as eating at someone’s home in the Tuscan hills.

-Probably the most disappointing piece for me throughout the book is the drastic omission of facts. No maps just pictures of places and you’ll have to see for yourself how to get there.

-History of the region is just copied and pasted out of a history book, again a history book form the 6th grade.

Overall, this book is far from balanced in its approach. Maybe I’m just angered by the fact that this was the only new book available at the time. On the other hand I feel it’s my obligation to give readers an honest review. If you feel like wasting your cash, then this book is for you.
