Editorial Reviews

Elizabeth Millard
Unlike some experts who specialize in nutrition advice, Hunter doesn't lean toward a black-and-white point of view—condemning genetic modification, for example—but instead presents the issues clearly and advises readers to explore the topics in more depth so they can draw their own conclusions. Be crafting such a wide-ranging guidebook for an often confusing topic, Hunter provides a valuable starting point for anyone who wants to learn more about making smart food choices.

Midwest Book Review
A huge list of statistics...but what do they really mean? "FoodSmart: Understanding Nutrition in the 21st Century" is a guide to understanding food in the modern day, which can be ever more confusing with terms such as organics, genetic modifications, aspartame, Splenda, and all of these other confusing terms constantly tossed about. Defining many of these terms, outlining the pros and cons of many foods commonly eaten by America, and more, Diana Hunter provides a highly educational look at food today. "FoodSmart" is of interest to any who want to know what they're eating.

It changed my life, and probably saved it.

I won't get into details, but I was sick and considerably out of shape.
When I heard this lady speak at a lecture, I decided to make some serious changes in my eating habits.
6 months later, I feel good, stopped my vices, and believe I will truly live a much longer life because of the info I got from her book.
She's like a missionary of good health and she presents like a pro.
