Ο Σπύρος Μαντζαβίνος γεννήθηκε στις 14 Απριλίου του 1995 στην Αθήνα και κατάγεται από τα Κοριάννα της Κεφαλλονιάς. Σπούδασε Ιστορία και Κλασική Φιλολογία στο Tubingen της Βάδης Βυρτεµβέργης και Σκηνοθεσία στη Σχολή Κινηµατογράφου Σταυράκου. Το 2018 εξέδωσε τη συλλογή διηγηµάτων Μνηστηροφονία και άλλες ιστορίες (Εκδόσεις Καστανιώτη) και ήταν υποψήφιος για το βραβείο πρωτοεµφανιζόµενου συγγραφέα του περιοδικού Κλεψύδρα. Έχει σκηνοθετήσει την ταινία Πανελλήνιον, η οποία απέσπασε τρία βραβεία στο 26ο Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Ντοκιµαντέρ Θεσσαλονίκης (2024): το βραβείο του Ελληνικού Κέντρου Κινηµατογράφου, της Πανελλήνιας Ένωσης Κριτικών και της Επιτροπής Νεότητας του Πανεπιστηµίου Θεσσαλονίκης και ήταν υποψήφια για καλύτερο ντοκιμαντέρ της χρονιάς στα Βραβεία Ίρις της Ελληνικής Ακαδημίας Kινηματογράφου. Τιμήθηκε επίσης με το βραβείο Orpheus ως Best Documentary στο Los Angeles Greek Film Festival. Τέλος ήταν υποψήφια ως καλύτερο ντοκιμαντέρ στο Berlin Greek Film Festival και στο Διεθνές Μεσογειακό Φεστιβάλ στη Μασσαλία (Prix Med Festival) και σύντομα θα προβληθεί στους θερινούς κινηματογράφους και στην πλατφόρμα του ertflix. Είναι επίσης ζωγράφος και χαράκτης.
