Overview

Welcome to Russia ... the most haunted nation on earth. They are the damned, the forgotten--those who cry out to let us know they lived. They are all ages and sexes. They remain earthbound for many reasons--duty, devotion, a sense of responsibility, but most of all for the simplest and most compelling reason of all: love. Come explore the vast land that is Russia, from the metropolitan streets of Moscow to the windswept steppes and farflung plains of Siberia. Discover the strange tales of those whose lives have continued long after their bodies perished, and whose restless spirits yet leave footprints in the Russian snows. Footprints in the Snow: True Stories of Haunted Russia is a reporter's view of documentable paranormal incidents. The stories are told though the eyes of a professional skeptic, one who does not "see ghosts behind every tree." Statistically, more than 96% of all such stories turn out to be quite natural in origin. There are exceptions.

Footprints in the Snow: True Stories of Haunted Russia

Footprints in the snow has captured the most unique collection of true ghost stories I have ever read. If this book doesn't send chills up your spine then nothing will. The author gives a sense of compassion, wonder and intrigue for some of these disembodies souls. You won't be able to put it down! I am waiting for part 2.

    Great Read!

This is one of the best collections of true ghost stories that I have ever read, and I have read dozens of them. The author has a low-key style that makes these stories even scarier. I would definitely buy other books by this writer!

    Definitely Recommended!

This book is a must read for anyone that delves into the stories of ghosts and the paranormal. Dr. Choron has a great deal of experience and education under his belt (read his profile) and he brings these true ghostly accounts to you in a masterful way.

    Incredible Accounts Of Russia!

I don't know where to start! I could not put this incredibly interesting book down! It's an easy read, but the Author is so descriptive and colorful in portraying these true stories! The is a wide range of circumstances in the book. There are military, family, love...and for some reason, there are souls that aren't completely finished on earth, even though they have died. How interesting, (in some) when they just wanted to be found, and laid to rest, then they don't appear anymore. Wow, a very interesting and thought-provoking book. I highly recommend this one.

Footprints in the Snow: True Stories of Haunted Russia

Unbelieveably creepy. This book really brought these trues stories of ghosts to life. I couldn't put the book down. A few of my friends have read it with the same reaction. These are definitely not your run of the mill ghost stories.

Footprints in the Snow: True Stories of Haunted Russia

I recently bought this book because I knew that the stories are real. They have been researched, and are stories of real people and what they have experienced. This is a delightful journey through Russia, meeting it's ordinary people like you and me. Every story is unique and beautifully told. Each event has something special about it that pulls you into the next chapter. Sometimes you are warmed by the event and sometimes heartbroken as the tale is told and sometimes left with a sense of wonderment that the people who have passed on are still able to make contact and make a difference to someone's life. I found his book delightful and interesting and in every way thoroughly enjoyable...

Footprints in the Snow: True Stories of Haunted Russia

This is a cool book. I had trouble putting it down. The stories aren't scary but they're true and that makes it even better. The author shows that there really is something real in the afterlife.

    An amazing Author!

Dr. James Choron is a very insightful writer. He is so very gifted with literary talent! The only way to read a better book is to wait until he writes it! I have read many short stories by Dr. Choron and he has never let me down! Always a great story!
