Meet the Author

With two historian parents, Sarah couldn't help but develop an interest in the past. She went on to get more than enough education herself (in anthropology) and began writing fiction when the stories in her head overflowed and demanded she let them out. Her interest in Wales stems from her own ancestry and the year she lived in England when she fell in love with the country, language, and people. She even convinced her husband to give all four of their children Welsh names.

She makes her home in Oregon.

I loved this book. Read Daughter of Time first (FREE). This boo

I loved this book. Read Daughter of Time first (FREE). This book and Prince of Time do come in a bundle, so you'll save a little if you get them that way. I have since read the rest of the series so far through Exiles in Time. I hope she is going to write more. They were all real page turners. I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I read 7 books in less than 2 weeks (I did have to go to work and sleep). I'm as addicted to them as I am to Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series. I like books about history, time travel and romance, and this series didn't disappoint. There was enough suspense in them that you didn't know for sure what was going to happen. There were some funny parts when Meg or her son David took someone back to their future time. When they were in medieval Wales and England, I felt like I was there. I didn't know much about 13th Century Wales (or modern day Wales for that matter), so I learned some things. It was interesting. I would recommend this whole series to anyone who likes any of these genre, and to those who don't necessarily like them, but want to give it a try. I'm glad I read them, and will be posting this review for each of the books in the series, just in case someone finds one of the others first. It's best to read them in order: Daughter of Time (prequel), Footsteps in Time (Book One), Winds of Time (between book 1 & 2), Prince of Time (Book Two), Crossroads in Time (Book Three), Children of Time (Book Four) and Exiles in Time.

    Really enjoyed this book.

Thought this book was great. I hadn't read anything set in medieval Wales before and now I want more. It's fun, time travel fantasy appropriate for readers of any age.

A very wonderful, page-turner, quick read. Makes a great introduction to Medieval Welsh and English historical fiction. Wonderful selection for an easy read on a rainy weekend - especially for young readers.

    Excellent read!!

GREAT story that had me so enthralled, I was shocked when it ended. Not at what happened at the end, just that it ended at all! So glad there is a second book!! Chuck full of Welsh history, language, and information WITHOUT sounding like a history lesson. Then, of course, it could have all been made up, how would I know? LOL...Book flowed smoothly despite so many words and names I couldn't pronounce.

Opened up a whole new genre for me in historical fiction.

Never read Medieval before. Because of this series i now love it. Started with free nook book Daughter of Time. This one is wonderful and the next one even better! I learned so much about Wales that i want to go there and see things described in the nooks.

Sit back & enjoy the ride

Historical/fantasy novel. Although some of text is not accurate, Sarah has a nack of stretching your imagination. I don't know if I would recommend this to anyone unless they enjoy that makes one wonder - if this could be done! I enjoyed it because occasionally, I enjoy a fun and fast read. But if you don't enjoy some fantasy in your world, you will take this into your library.

If you are looking for a romance story you have the wrong book.

If you are looking for a romance story you have the wrong book.  If you are looking for a slightly altered history of Wales you have chosen the right book.
