Meet the Author

Rae Spencer is an eclectic recluse working as a paper-pusher living in Harveys Lake Pennsylvania. She is the author of the erotica novella “Beyond A Proposition” currently in release by Lazy Day Publishing. She loves to cross-stitch, embroider, hula-hoop, has a huge fetish for rock music and Peanut M&M’s. She started reading romance novels in middle school and began writing in high school. Rae claims reading historical romance’s played a huge role in helping her pass high school History.
After years of writing in the closet, Rae decided to take a chance and joined a poetry workshop. Through the camaraderie and gentle nudges of her friends, Rae took the leap toward submissions. Rae’s writing lets her live her fantasies and give her imagination the freedom needed to flourish. Her biggest desire for her stories is simply for those who read them to lose themselves in the stories, temporarily leaving the dredge of reality behind.

    COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY

The author had some good ideas for this book, but completely failed in writing them. The dialogue is stilted, cheesy, and sometimes flat out confusing. Instead of just writing, "I'm not sure" she made them say "I am not sure". I started putting my own words in just to get through the book. Almost every sentence was either a fragment, or a run-on, making the reading incredibly difficult to understand for such a simple book. When it got to the "fight" scenes between Jason and Clay, their argument sounded like something that would happen between two 5 year old kids. "You helped yourself to her parent's house, you took her security, and you nearly took her life." "That is a lie!" "No, it is not." "Yes, it is!" "Jason, you are wrong." Reading through those parts, especially, was very awkward. I rushed through, again creating my own dialogue, forcing myself to keep reading because I wasted money on this book. I give a little leniency, because I know I'm reading a work of fiction, but this book was just completely unbelievable. I would have a hard time being more disappointed in a book, and I can't believe they charge people for reading this. Even the love scenes were a huge letdown, sounding as if they were written by an 11 year old with no true knowledge of intimacy. She only used 3 different words. I am very confused at the people that have given this book 4 and 5 stars. If you think this book is good, then there is a whole world of books out there that would completely blow your mind.

    Loved It!!!

Wow! Another great book...crazy band life, love, a shattered past from a jerk who almost takes an innocent young girls life. You will love this book for sure. Hot steamy love scenes too.

    Not bad...

...but not great. The idea was good, but the story was just all over the place. It became confusing with all the characters and trying to figure out their connection to each other. It just wasn't clear what the connection and back story was for all the characters. The dialouge was pretty ridiculous and unrealistic. So the idea behind the book was a good one, but the exiqution was sad. Not worth spending your money.
