I can watch the clouds in a bright blue sky. I can laugh at shapes that go floating by. We have trees and flowers, and I'll tell you why ... For God so loved the world.
We've got oceans filled with all kinds of fish. On a moonlit night, hear them swish, swish, swish. Then the stars come out like a giant wish, For God so loved the world.
See the elephants and the giant cats? Gorgeous, flying birds, scary, hanging bats, From the big baboons to the tiny gnats— For God so loved the world.
Ever wonder how God could make a dad, Then create a mom from a rib? Not bad! It was all a part of the plan God had, For God so loved the world.
But the greatest gift that we got, by far, Didn't come by plane, didn't come by car. It was sent from heaven to where we are, For God so loved the world.
For we all do things that we shouldn't do, And we think bad thoughts without wanting to. So God sent Jesus for me and you! For God so loved the world.
