    Highly, highly recommended *****

I would advise all God fearing people to see the movie "For Greater Glory." I can't believe we learned none of the Cristeros war in history, but history is written by the winners. The companion text has excellent background information. THis movie and book are a must see for anyone who values their right to "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."!!!!!!!

    Nice companion to movie

If you saw and loved the movie, this is a good companion pamphlet. It reviews the film's accuracy, pointing out where the movie deviated from actual history and where it didn't. It also provides information on what actually happened to the major characters in the story after the rebellion.

Saw the movie first, and came away with with more questions than answers about this historical event. The book answered my questions, and I was interested to learn about this little known part of Mexcio's history. I particularly liked the question and answer format, and thought the bibliography helpful for further study.
