Overview

Nigel thought his life was perfect. Terrell thought being in 'half' of a relationship was good enough. Qiana thought becoming a mother required 'no strings attached.' Rita thought she could change a man without having to change herself. Rashawn thought it was just everyone else who had problems--They were all wrong.

Within this group of friends, no one dared to even think the deadly abbreviated words, such as the M-word, Marriage or the L-word, Love. However, their lives were about to change and change would not be easy. It was going to take hard work, and maybe even some of that nasty C-word--Commitment.

A mix-up turned fix-up flips the lives of a group of young professionals upside down, causing each of them to look within themselves to see just what they would do...For Love's Sake.

With friends like these, I'd seriously consider keeping ALL of my personal business to myself! Qiana seemed like a really nice person - she deserved better people around her.

I just finished the latest version of FOR LOVE'S SAKE, and I only have one complaint. The book wasn't long enough! The closer I got to the end, the more I dreaded the dwindling pages I had left to read. Ms. McGriff did a wonderful job showing us something different from the same-old stale topics. Her characters were fresh, and her voice unique. Carefully blending a mix up into a fix up, Ms. McGriff will have you pulling out your entire range of emotions. I look forward to the sequel! I loved the author's use of words, and the movement of the plot. An emphatic two thumbs up!

This was a different kind of read. I so enjoyed this book! Qiana Pattterson is hearing her biological clock ticking, LOUDLY, and decides that the rasta-wanna-be that she's been living with for three years is anything but daddy material. So deciding to take matters into her own hands, she finds an alternative way to find a solution to her problem. The only thing she doesn't count on is one Nygel Godwins. Nygel never wanted to be anybody's daddy. Why he chose to donate to a sperm bank is anyone's guess. With an ice-princess for a girlfriend, it was no wonder he had problems committing. However, when the sperm bank makes a horrible mistake, things change forever for Qiana, Nygel and the ice princess, Sherry, who has some secrets of her own. In the vein of true love stories, they both fight valiantly against the inevitable. However, when the fake rasta literally rips their world apart, it seems that things will never be the same for Qiana and Nygel. Ms. McGriff weaves such a wonderfully tender love story that you will find yourself smiling and nodding sagely as you experience these two unlikely lovers fall in love. With a nice twist, you will gasp in dismay and shock, but in the end, enjoy a most satisfactory end to this unique and moving story. My only regret is that the story wasn't long enough. I know that Michelle has done other sequels for other books. I would love to see one for this one. If not about Qiana and Nigel, but about Terrell and Rita. Now there was a story waiting to be told! Way to go Michelle!! I very much look forward to reading your other books.

Michelle really knows how to tell a story. The plot is fast and the characters funny and believable. Continued success, Michelle. The read was fast paced and snappy. Each character presented an interesting story ¿ Qiana, Rita, Sherry, Terrell, Rufus and Nigel. KUDOS to the author. I look forward to reading more of your work! Continued success, Michelle.

It's a light-hearted romance that will tickle your funny bone. For Love's sake takes you into the lives of 6 'got it all together'Bay Area Yuppies and lets you watch them 'screw in a light bulb' so to speak-add in a few more twists and watch the feathers fly! Enjoy-The Author

This is the second book by this author I have read and I enjoyed this book even more than the first one I read. The characters are intelligent and the story was very entertaining. I found the humor mature and bright. The story, in the beginning seemed like I knew where it was going but Ms. McGriff Zinged me again in the end.

Another good book by Michelle McGriff. Her ability to give you that 'RIGHT THERE' feeling is impressive. Her characters seem very alive. I have become a fan.

What a terrific second book by this author. Once again, Michelle McGriff gave a simple plot a great twist that blew me away. I loved every minute of the ride. Good story.
