Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"One of the Top Ten Sports Books of 1994." —The Sporting News

"There is nothing tougher to infiltrate than a major college football team, and that includes the White House, the CIA and the FBI, and Ken Denlinger's For The Glory has done just that. In doing so, he has delivered a remarkable portrait of college football: the good, the bad, the bitter, and the sweet." —John Feinstein, author of A Season on the Brink

    HORRIBLE!!!

Usually if i ready a book i excessivly HATE i don't bother to complain to a larger audence about it. But this book has made me strech my ideals. Oh, God forbid i hated this book. Let me explain briefly. I'm a highschooler, and my father recently fell ill and was in ICU for two weeks in a city about 200 miles from our rural home. So after i returned to school, one of my teachers tells me she'll wave all of my assighnments if I'll agree to do a book report for this book before the end of the quarter; that's about three weeks. Well, I'm a smart student and a good reader so I agreed. Oh lord, this book was drawn out, borning, whiny and childish. I'm not exactly a football fan, but i swear i nearly hate the sport now. It lacks interest, heart, and intelligent opinion. Please God for your own good DO NOT READ THIS BOOK! It ought to come with a warning label.
