Fell in love with FOR THE LOVE OF ANNA. This was the first

Fell in love with FOR THE LOVE OF ANNA.

This was the first Dixie Lynn Dwyer book I read and it was great. 500 pages long, but a fast read due to an inspiring storyline and addicting characters. I love how Anna's story is told, from her abusive life with her father, a near fatal beating, escaping to her best friend's house, and finally finding a place where she is safe, happy and valued. Falling in love with three sexy Texas cowboys who are determined to love and protect her is confusing to her at first, but who can resist the Cantrell brothers? I really liked how Dixie Lynn Dwyer developed the story over time. We saw Anna change from a terrified victim to a confident and sexy woman who is more than a match for Wyatt, Charlie and Ben. The stories where they meet and fall in love within a day are a bit over the top for me.

The one thing that puzzled me was that For the Love of Anna was published almost a year before Stacy's Destiny. Since Stacy's home with Eric and Max is where Anna ran to after she was nearly killed, the stories are a little reversed. I would recommend reading Stacy's Destiny first, then For the Love of Anna, just to keep things timely.

    Hot Read

Her life in danger and her body nearly broken, Anna Parker takes the first steps to healing when she steps off the bus in Pearl, Texas. She never expected the healing to include three sexy Texas men determined to protect and love her at any cost.

Anna's body isn't the only thing that's bruised and battered. So is her faith in family and men in general. Brothers Charlie, Ben, and Wyatt prove that the men in Texas aren't just big in size; they also have an incredible supply of patience, understanding, love and devotion. I like that Anna doesn't immediately fall all over the men. Charlie appropriately compares her to a frightened doe at one point. The writing is so vivid I could easily picture Anna's trepidation in accepting that these three large men wanted to love and care for her.

Charlie, Ben, and Wyatt Cantrell are more than brothers, they are obviously best friends. This is a close knit family along with their cousins Eric and Max. As a reader and a woman, I had to admire their devotion and connection. Even though Anna is initially intimidated by the brothers, their easy manner and persistence pays off! I would rather she didn't cry as much as she does, but considering what she had been through I guess it's understandable. The first time she meets and talks to Wyatt is one of my favorite scenes. He is a total Alpha and doesn't let her get away with hiding from their chemistry.

Anna has an amazing transformation from a "scared doe" to strong woman as the story progresses. When she realized the trouble has followed her from New York she's determined to not let the people she's grown to love get hurt on her account. Lucky for her they feel the same way!

This is a beautiful love story for anyone who enjoys the intensity of a ménage relationship. Ms. Dwyer has a talented voice for writing ménage. I was first introduced to her writings when I read Were She Belongs. My only complaint isn't really a complaint but more like a hopeful request! In For The Love Of Anna, we are introduced to secondary characters Stacy, Eric and Max who are in a ménage relationship as well. I NEED to read their story! So, please Ms. Dwyer, don't leave us hanging to long!! Until then, though, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of Anna's story. You will be glad you did.

    Love It

I read" Stacys Destiny" first and I thought WOW great read. Than I thought, what the heck, I'll read the second book, which I hardly ever do because sometimes they just don't live up to the first book. But boy was I mistaken, "For The Love Of Anna" was just as good. I have to put Dixie Lynn Dwyer second on my list under Maya Banks as my favorite must reads.

    PRETTY GOOD STORY

I loved it just that while not expensive, it was a long book. The charactors n towns people were good. Very open minded sex. Shes a writer with a good way of telling her stories. All three men loved her. I really liked it.

Planning my next roadtrip to Pearl!

An emotionally charged and well thoughtout story. Finally a book with a great storyline and has many pages filled with delicious sex. The small town of Pearl is a place where it is not uncommon for a woman to be commited and cherished by more than one man. Townsfolk don't bat an eye at seeing one woman hold the hearts of 3 brothers. Looks like I have a new favorite author. 500 + pages
