Meet the Author

Suzie’s life has been one big adventure. Her childhood was full of reading the classics like Treasure Isle, Robinson Crusoe and The Swiss Family Robinson tales. In fact her mother has another word for her “stories” but to this day, Suzie continues to dream up adventures of her own.

As a pregnant teen her adventure became a life-defining moment as she struggled to survive and raise a child on her own. During those rocky years writing became an emotional outlet.

After a very long divorce she again finds herself climbing that rocky path of life and has learned to live by a single quote: “Obstacles are placed in our path to determine whether we really wanted something, or just thought we did.” By Dr. Harold Smith.

Suzie looks forward to each new obstacle.

Taking life by the proverbial horns, Suzie now lives happily ever after with her new beau, three boys, and one little Shih tzu named Peppy Le’Pew in NC. One day she plans to retire and sail along the east coast, an adventurer to the end.

    Hmm

Its hard to like ava when she comes across as a slut. once you get over that you like gabriel and wish for them to be together. It didnt draw you in enough. For a free read its ok but if u pay you would be disapointed. Their story had a great happy ending with her role an all but it could have been better.

For the Sake of Sin by Suzie Grant
Gabriel Stone is a retired assassin with no plans of changing that status, until jasmine scented letters arrive asking him for help. He had to meet the author of the letters.

That author was Ava Sinclair, known to most as Sin. A courtesan of immense beauty on the outside, but a deep and hidden sadness on the inside. She had a plan for vengeance that had been boiling inside for over ten years. And she needed Gabriel's help to make it happen.

This is a fairly short and easy read. Two people who have known loss and who have been as the walking dead for the past ten years. Gabriel knows the destruction vengeance can bring and the lack of satisfaction it carries. And yet, can he deny this beauty anything? This was a free book.

Not much in character development - at least it was free.

    Eh

Could have been better. Short and well written, dreamy prose, perhaps to create the mood of outside real life, with real life starting at the end of the story? Characters never really developed to the point you care, all in all not bad for a feee read.
