OMG!The Gossip Girl franchise sure is getting bigger and bigger.I was dying to read this graphic novel as soon as i saw the picture on Barnes and Noble because i am a huge fan of Gossip Girl,When i first started the comic i realized it wasn't far from the original tv show or book aside from Dan and Vanessa looking quite different,The illustrations of each character were very well drawn and true to each character like Serena's fashion was casual,stylish and cool,Blair was sophistication,Chuck had the playboy air and look and Nate hot and angelic.The plot was jaw dropping,literally.Imagine this:spoiler:Blair and Dan together and making out?Shocked yet?Can't wait for volume two!

Unexpected
To be completely honest, I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this. Don't get me wrong, I love the show and have read all the novels, but when I saw a manga of GossipGirl was coming out, I figured it was just some cheap way to market the series some more. However, upon recieving the book I had to force myself to put it down so as to not finish it in one sitting. It has beautifully drawn images, fun characters, and a nice mix of both feelings from the original novels and the TV show. Needless to say, I'll definitely be ordering the next two books when I can.
