The words "highly erratic" best describe the sequencing throughout For Your Love. Jumping from REO Speedwagon to Gregory Abbott to Walter Egan may sound like a game one could play involving six degrees and Kevin Bacon, and it's probably the biggest detractor from this compilation. It's a 42-minute excursion in how not to curate a soft rock record, jumping sonically all over the place from arena rock REO Speedwagon to quiet storm Isley Brothers, Surface to the Bangles does not make for a solid recording.
