Overview

Francesco Giordano wants to retire and turn over his shipping empire to his only son, Daniel. But the young, gorgeous, and sexy Daniel is more interested in fast cars, the family jet, and bedding women.

When Francesco decides the best way to make his son grow up is to change his identity and move him away from his Manhattan penthouse, Daniel's world begins to rock.

Sent to a little town in Tennessee, stripped of his family name and all access to money, Daniel finds himself on a mission to prove to his father that he can make it on his own. If he doesn't, he risks losing the family business and billions of dollars.

Country life isn't setting very well with the fast-paced New Yorker, until he meets the woman who stirs up every one of his senses. Katherine is beautiful, sassy, and has no intentions of hooking up with the new stranger in town. She leaves without a word. Will Daniel risk it all to find her?

There were typos, missing words and odd letters inserted in sentences which detracted from the story. Even the blurb for the next book in the series had a grammar mistake. Even worse, the author constantly changed point of view. This is an amateurish mistake that beginners make and all these things reflect poor editing. The premise of the story is a good one and there was so much promise there that I kept reading despite the author's proclivity for stretches of narrative explanation. She needs to learn to show rather than tell. She also needs to give her characters stronger motivation to change. A couple of encounters with a pretty woman would not turn a selfish hedonist into a caring person, nor would an older woman in trouble engage his sympathy and make him work hard when he never even held a job before. I so wanted this story to succeed, because I wanted to see its premise succeed, but I was very disappointed in the lack of careful crafting. Please, Terri Marie, take time to learn the basics of dialog and characterization. And hire a good editor! You could be so much better.

I loved reading this book, it had just the right amount of sex and not over bearing. This book showed that love was about truly loving some one with your heart mind and soul. It also held just enough mystery to keep you reading to the end to find out what would happen. Characters were well devloped. Kudos to this author, will be reading more of her books.

I love this story! Daniel is hot and sexy. The story line kept me intrigued through the entire book. The characters were well developed and I loved his romance with Katherine. Looking forward to the second book in this series!

Very juvenile writing. Many editing errors. Style of writing equivalent to middle school. Reads like someone trying desperately to emulate a romance novelist. Story line? Unrealistic and patronizing.

Good story but it felt rushed at times. There was no smooth transition to resolving conflicts it just happened. Could be better.

I loved this book. Just watching the change and inner fighting because he didn't know what was happening was great.

I really enjoyed this book! It was full of twists and turns as the romance of Daniel and Katherine unfolds. Sexy little rich boy, Daniel, must give up all his spoiled rich ways and learn to live like an ordinary person. He really fights it at first, but when Katherine walks into his life, things really start to change. I was so sad to say good by to this great couple and this great book. Terri Marie really knows how to keep us spell bound and wanting more!!

This is the first in the Billionaire in Disguise series.  All 3 books are stand alone and can be read in any order.  The first book is about Danial, is the only child of shipping tycoon Francesco Giordano and is has spent his life living and acting like the world owes him.  He has never taken responiblity for anything and expects his father to just turn over the company to him.  Francesco has other ideas.  He creates a fake identy for Danial and sends him to a remote Tennessee town where he is forbidden to use his real name or connections.  He must get a job and provide for himself proving to his father that is worthy of running the business.  Throughout the story Danial meet people that are willing to lend a hand without question or judgment.  The growth of Danial through this story is both touching and real.  I loved everything about this book and will look for more books by Terri Marie.  I have recommended and will continue to recommend this story to all of my friends and family.
