Overview

“Forgive your enemies – nothing annoys them more.”

“Dusty Bibles lead to dirty lives”

"A sunrise is God’s way of saying lighten up."

“Where will you be spending eternity – Smoking or Non-smoking?”

“Don’t make me come down there! -- GOD”

In an overwhelmingly high-tech world, church sign maxims and admonitions such as these have remained a simple, effective way to communicate to passersby. Some may find the more forthright religious sayings humorous, while the contemplative may find deep philosophical meaning in sayings intended to be merely amusing. Containing more approximately 400 of these ‘sentence sermons,’ you’ll enjoy this ‘soulful slice’ of roadside Americana.

    Most Uplifting

This is one of the most enjoyable books I've read in a long time. When your faith or your spirit needs an uplift, I'd recommend it highly. Easy to read: can be picked up and put down when you only have a few minutes to spare.
